Big Gorgeous release music video for Puddles, on Tour with Cincinnati's Founding Fathers

San Francisco theatrical metal/dance pop duo Big Gorgeous have released their debut single "Puddles", accompanied by an outrageous music video filmed at NYC concert staple Arlene's Grocery. Finding lighthearted inspiration in a particularly ridiculous real-life event, the band expanded on the vision behind the video:

"The song was inspired by a somewhat awkward real life event and the video provides a medium to make jest of that moment in a fun and entertaining way.  Fun and entertainment are our ultimate objectives in everything we set out to achieve.  We could go further and describe the actual event, but we don’t think that’s necessary, it’s pretty self-explanatory.  We believe the lyrical content in this song is not deep enough to need an explanation.  It’s about as deep as a puddle."

Big Gorgeous currently on a joint US tour with Cincinnati rock band Founding Fathers, who make an extended cameo on the video. "When we were first approached with the idea of having a cameo in the video, it made perfect sense for us to be the "clean up crew", considering we wear jumpsuits," the band commented, "The days involved in filming were some of the best we've ever had and certainly a glimpse of what it will be like for both bands to be on tour together."

Big Gorgeous will release their debut album Perv Pop, later this year.
